Repair a Degraded Disk in Synology OS

Context: During my installation of the 3rd 8TB HDD Disk, we accidentally reinstalled without realizing that the Disk Bay 1 had slid out slightly and wasn’t really plugged in, so the system freaked out and thought one of the Disks was dead when really it just needed to be re-initialized. This is a document showing just exactly how i did that
Go To Storage Manager > [Affected Volume] > Repair Now
Take Note of What Drive you see in the Volume and what Drives you do NOT see
Select the Drive you DON’T see in the healthy drives list for repair
This is good, it means that the system see’s our disk and can talk to it even if it is just a little bit
Go To Storage Manager and watch the Progress of the Repair, wait until 100% to finish Troubleshooting Thoroughly
Reboot System & Check for Automounts
