Install Bazzite OS and Setup
You will first need to download the Bazzite ISO file in order to install Bazzite onto the system, go to the following site:
Navigate to your Downloads Folder and Select the ISO, then click Open
Click on Select Target
Select your USB Flash Drive and then click on Continue
Select Flash!
Balenca Will Probably ask you to enter your password and for some permissions to access the Flash Drive
Wait for Balenca to Finish Flashing the Disk Drive
When the flash is finished Balenca will notify you
Eject the Flash Drive
Insert the Flash Drive into your System and power it on
Select the “Install” Option when it pops up
Set your Language and click Continue
On the next screen, select “Installation Destination” > select the automatic partitioner for your Boot Drive (don’t select your USB drive!!)
Then, click on User Creation - set your username and password here, and decide if this system even needs a password to get in (i would set up an IPS/IDS to watch this system if you set it to passwordless!)
Save, and click “Begin Installation”
Once the System is done installing the OS, click on “Reboot System” and remove your USB Drive
Once your system reboots, you will begin the OS Setup, Select English
Choose your Timezone and Connect to your Network (we just plugged into Ethernet for this one)
SteamOS will begin installing on top of Bazzite, after it’s done sign into your Steam Account and connect a controller!
