DRIVE INSTALLATION
Take the NAS out of the Box in a nice flat workspace. Start by unscrewing the 4 Thumbscrews on the Back of the System
The Backplate will swing down, make sure it’s resting on a Flat Surface
Carefully lift the Mid-Section Body from the Assembly Frame
The Backside Cartridges will Swing out when pulled, go ahead and take as many out as you need (will depend on number of Hard Disks you have available)
You will need to use the Screws which came with the kit to secure the Hard Drives with the Trays
Slide the Hard Drives back into the NAS, make sure you hear and feel a *click* (you will know it is fully installed / connected)
Reassemble the Case the same way you took it off, reattach the Mid-Body to the Frame, and swing the Backplate back up, securing it with the 4 Thumb Screws which came on the Box
Assemble and Plug in the Power Cord Connector to the Back of The Case, alongside 1 of the 2 Ethernet Cords which came with the System
Now, Plug the NAS into the Router along with Power in a nearby outlet, then Press on the Power button on the Front of the System
Now, go to your Router Admin Portal and look up the Attached Devices you have on your Network, and locate the SynologyNAS listed. Open a Web Browser and Enter that IP Address
